Starr Studded Entertainment consist of a selective group of writers who come from various entertainment backgrounds.  From poets, to actors, to production assistants, to directors we all make a unique but dynamic team.


Aktwiggy_emailAkua Agyemang raised in Charlotte, NC but of Ghanaian descent is a model/actress/writer/filmmaker and overall inspirational and motivational speaker. Going against the grain of  her parents dreams of her becoming a doctor/lawyer, she began her journey to directing and producing empowerment pieces that the world can learn from, aspire to, and gain strength to go through.


ainsley bio picAinsley Burrows is a former member of the world famous NuYorican Café poetry slam team, a highly respected international poet and undoubtedly one of the finer surrealist poets of his generation.
After a childhood spent in Jamaica, he dabbled with poetry while studying for a BA in Accounting and eventually quit academia to write full-time in the first year of an MBA after a near-fatal accident caused him to re-evaluate his life. He emerged as a respected poet in New York in the late 1990s and soon visited the UK where he also gained a loyal following.
Ainsley has since read at several universities and colleges worldwide, and been featured at festivals such as the Wordstock Festival in New York and the Lancaster Literature Festival in the UK. He is the author of Black Angels with Sky Blue Feathers, The Woman who Isn’t Was and, most recently, The Wolf Who Cried Boy. He resides in New York and has recently completed his first novel.

Harmony ShabbotHarmony Ingraham is a veteran of regional and professional theatre, working in roles varying from acting to lighting to stage management. She has written and directed several short films and is finishing up her Performing Arts degree at SUNY. Her dream of coming to New York City as a child finally came true two years ago and wants to thank everyone for their support in this journey. Many thanks to Starr Studded Entertainment for the wonderful screenwriting opportunity.

Shana Solomon has always had a passion for the art of acting. As a child she watched movies and plays, repeating the words, facial expressions and emotions that emanate from characters.  She attended the Deena Levy Theater Studio, and also studied at the HB studio in New York.  She has acted in independent films, television, theater and commercials. Her most recent accomplishments were winning the IFNY monologue slam and landing a feature role in a GEICO commercial, which aired pre-game on Super Bowl Sunday. Her career has included playing a wide variety of character types and is also currently writing stage plays and screen plays to give herself more opportunity in the arts.

Wale Olgundipe is a screenwriter based in New York City and Los Angeles. In December wale2009, he directed a performance piece that went up at Where Eagles Dare Theatre in NYC.  Previously, he was the host of “Som do Brasil,” WKCR’s weekly Brazilian music show.
